Rules

On this page you will see a brief summary of ECFA rules that are subject to the most enquiries. For a complete copy of the rules please contact your regional representative or the league administrator.

All participating colleges must be affiliated to their County F.A.

All participants must be full time students of the college they represent and be under 19 years of age at midnight on the 31st of August prior to the competition.

Team coaches must be qualified to a minimum level of UEFA "B"

Two members of staff should be in attendance at each game, one should hold the F.A level 2 Treatment & Management of Injuries Award.

All players must be registered with the competition administrator at least one full week before they are eligible to play.

Each College must complete and return a team sheet and match report form within four 4 days of the completion of a fixture. No new players may be registered after 31st of January and only 12 changes from the original squad may be made during any season.
